What a summer! School is about to begin and we will be entering another great year here at Selkirk Montessori. Over the summer we had the PA system and the schools security cameras installed! It is so very exciting. For many that may not know  the office staff had to call each of the classrooms individually for lockdown drills, which is fine for drills but if we ever had to call an immediate lockdown not so efficient! It will take some getting used to for all of us but these tools and measures are put into place for the safety of your children.
 
Cameras are situated on each of the floors by the outside doors and one is on the outside playground on the first floor. If you want to come and take a look at what we are seeing and recording please feel free to drop by my office at any time and check it out! It is thanks to your fundraising, after all, that we are able to install these security tools. Thank you everyone! Any questions please drop by and see me.
