Due to weather uncertainties our OPEN HOUSE has been postponed and it will be held on January 26, 2012.

Same time 5:30 - 8:30pm.  Hope to see you then.

JANUARY

  • Lunch delivery starts the first week back.
  • Clubs continue  the second week of January.
  • 9th - Special meeting of the Pacific Montessori Society to talk about the possible expansion 7:00 pm
  • 12th - SPG Parent Meeting - Children and Nature
  • 19th - Open House and Transition Night  5:30 - 8:30 pm

 
DECEMBER

  • December- throughout the whole month is a food drive to help the Mustard Seed fill their shelves for the holidays.
  • November 28, 2011 - December 2  -  Angel Gifts in the classrooms. Students bring in a twoonie to help the homeless.
  • December 5, 2011 - December 15, 2011 (Gr. 1 - 8) bring Socks and Shoes in Sacks program. Information was emailed. If you didn't receive it check with Linda (in the office) about your email.
  • December 15, 2011 - Winter Concert  6:30 pm
  • December 16, 2011 - Last day of school

 
 
NOVEMBER

Remembrance Day Ceremony - November 10, 2011  with special guests Maurice 'Migs' Turner and Richard Reiter.
 
OCTOBER
October is underway and the lunch program started the week of October 4th! All orders should be in now for clothing, lunch, Save Around Victoria Books (if you have one and are not planning on keeping it please make sure it makes it's way back to the office or if you haven't already done so please provide payment to the office.)
Clubs are underway see clubs for more information on those. Photo day happened earlier in the first week. If your child/ren were absent for this they can join in for retake day which will be announced when the photos come back from the photographers.
Sign up sheets are waiting for volunteers to sign up for our upcoming Get Up and Go Auction. The sheets are located in the schools main foyer.
 
 
SEPTEMBER
Selkirk Montessori Lunch Program 
Deadline - Friday September 23/2011
Just a quick reminder that the lunch program order forms and payment are due in the office by Friday September 23rd.  A big thank you to all of the families participating and we hope you and your children enjoy the new selections!
 
Please note:  the first week of lunch delivery will commence the week of October 4th, not October 5th as was detailed in our initial letter.  The lunch program is available for Casa through grade 8!!
